Longoz means "flooded forest" in our language. It refers to a formation in which the river channels in the forest change with every rain and thus the movement becomes visible. İğneada, which has one of the longest coastlines in Turkey, has 6 lakes, including Mert Lake, Pedina Lake and Erikli.
