I am a witness of time. For years, I took my steps in this inspired life. When I took my first steps, I walked in the magical lanes of the advertising world as a producer and director. In 2015, I fell in love with directing with the movie "Makam Şoförü". I fell under the spell of telling the stories I made sense of behind the camera.

While continuing on this path, I came under the umbrella of Miki Film Collective, and the dynamism and creativity of this collective fascinated me even more. With the documentaries titled "Kadıköy Bicycle" in 2016 and "Billy: The Nature of Things" in 2017, I captured the life stories seeping through the urban fabric. In the same years, I started and continued the "Get Out of the Car, Get on the Bike" campaign, which moved away from the noise of cars and caught the rhythm of the pedals, by establishing the Kinocycle film collective. The sounds of the bike's wheels told us that every pedaling was the rhythm of life.

The roads have taken me on a 10,000km cycling journey by 2022. With my film "Cinati: A Criticalmass Story", I told the story of those who pedal, capturing the rhythm of cities with each pedal cycle. During this journey from Istanbul to Tehran, I realized how valuable it is to record testimony as a memory at every turn of the wheel.

On this long road, I stepped into the agricultural file. I reflected the moments when I met with the soil, labor and our roots with documentaries such as "A Clean Farm: Organic and Beyond Agriculture", "Sevinç Abla: My Love Exists Apart from My Labor" and "Migration to the Rural".

Between 2019 and 2023, I captured the blooming beauty of cities and the life sprouting in the arms of the soil with the documentaries "City Gardens", "Compost Beautification" and "My Pedal Friend".

In 2024, the movie "SatChitAnanda: Belgin Abla" received the "Best Experimental Documentary Film" award of 2024.

The film "Rejection of the Anthropocene: An Anecdote of Urban Agriculture" also took its place in the selection at the EU Human Rights Film Festival. Films continue their festival journey.

Behind every film lies the magic of leaving meaningful traces in the short continuity of life, setting scenes and documenting life. As a witness to this magical world behind the camera, I continue to walk this path.
